Makeup Policy
The Rotary Club of Effingham County grants makeups via the
following policy:
-
For any official Rotary
event, activity, program or meeting sponsored by a
Rotary Club, a Rotary District or Rotary International
where other Rotarians are present;
-
For any service activity
coordinated by an agency officially sponsored by this
Rotary Club (as determined by the agency’s presence in
the Club’s annual budget) where other Rotarians are
present with a limit of one such make-up per calendar
month; and
-
For any on-line project as
provided by Rotary International … with a limit of one
such make-up per calendar quarter.
Examples:
-
By attending
our Board of Directors meetings. The Board meets on the
4th Wednesday of each month at 7:30 am at Johnson's on
4th Street.

Make-ups can
be done by assisting with the Brown Bag program each
month at the United Way Building in Rincon. Set-up is
from 9-11 a.m. on the last Tuesday of the month.
Distribution is from 8:30 - 11 a.m. on the last
Wednesday of the month. Contact Bonnie Dixon (826-5300)
for further information.

Attend an
SEHS Interact Club meeting and receive credit for a
make-up. Their regular meetings are held the 3rd
Wednesday of each month at 8 am. Their Board meetings
are held the preceding Monday.

You can also
do an online make-up by clicking
here.
Online make-ups require you to read certain Rotary
related materials and then answer questions concerning
that material. Our club permits a maximum of two online
make-ups per year.
