Scholarships

The Rotary Club of Effingham Foundation, Incorporated is pleased to award scholarships to worthy seniors at Effingham County High School (ECHS) and South Effingham High School (SEHS).  At present, a maximum of four scholarships in the amount of $2,500. each are awarded - two at ECHS and two at SEHS.  The recipients are announced at the awards ceremony at each school at the end of the school year.

Three of these scholarships are funded by monies received from the Rotary Club of Effingham County as a result of their fundraising activities.  One additional scholarship is funded through the generosity of Mary Zittrouer, a former member of that club who now resides in Athens, GA.  That scholarship is named "The Mary Zittrouer Scholarship" in her honor.

Students are responsible for obtaining copies of the application and instruction sheet and submitting them in a timely fashion.  These items can be obtained from the Guidance department at each of the high schools or by downloading them from this website.
